Demetrio Zema
Founder + CEO
Demetrio founded Cubed by Law Squared to help in-house legal teams simplify workflows, improve visibility, and focus on what matters most. As CEO of Squared Group, he blends technology and legal expertise to deliver real impact for customers. An entrepreneur and lawyer, he advises boards, CEOs, and General Counsel on strategy and governance. He also plays an active role in the community, serving as Chair of Expression Australia and the Royal Tasmanian Society of the Deaf and Blind.
Erica Zhong
Head of Cubed
Erica leads Cubed by Law Squared, overseeing commercial strategy, growth and client experience for in-house legal teams. With a background spanning legal practice, consulting and technology, she has led growth strategy, enterprise client acquisition and strategic partnerships across Australia, Europe and North America.
Erica holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce. She is a Committee Member of WiLD (Women in Legal Tech Disruptors) and a mentor with Victorian Women Lawyers. Outside of work, she loves to travel and is rarely without a next adventure in the planning.
Emily Moran
Head of Customer Success
Emily leads the Customer Success function at Cubed and is responsible for ensuring our clients get real, lasting value. Em has extensive experience in Customer Success and legal technology, and loves working directly with customers to optimise their usage of tech platforms, share best practice and advocate for enhanced client experience. Outside of work, Em is a licensed wildlife carer and spends much of her time rescuing, rehabbing and raising orphaned, injured and sick native animals.
Trent Milvain
Head of Operations + Growth
Trent leads the operational delivery of Cubed by Law Squared, ensuring the platform consistently meets the evolving needs of customers. Since joining The Law Squared Group in 2017, he has developed deep expertise in the in-house legal sector, driving process improvements and contributing to the product vision to make every feature practical and impactful. Known for combining strategic insight with operational excellence, Trent helps translate customer needs into actionable solutions. Outside of work, he serves on the Board of We Are Mobilise, chairing its Finance & Audit Risk Committee and supporting the organisation’s mission to eradicate homelessness in Australia.
William Cornwill
Head of Product
Microsoft Solutions Architect
As Head of Product at Cubed by Law Squared, William drives the strategy, design and delivery of a purpose-built legal tech platform for in-house legal teams. With over 30 years in technology and a background as a Microsoft Solution Architect, he brings deep technical credibility to every stage of the product lifecycle, from roadmap and architecture through to customer implementation and support. William works hands-on with customers to ensure Cubed deployments are seamless and deliver measurable value, combining product leadership with genuine platform expertise. Outside of work, he's a coffee enthusiast and qualified barista who loves roasting beans and discovering new cafés.
